In a heartwarming display of excitement teams danced with joy as they witnessed the successful Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission touchdown. 

After a 40-day journey from Sathish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3 achieved its lunar landing on Wednesday (August 23).

The air seemed to thrum with anticipation as the crowd counted down the minutes to the Chandrayaan-3 landing on Wednesday.

Someone in the crowd yelled “250 meters !” as the group cheered in response. “200…150…!” they counted down. 

For a moment, silence descended over the crowd, as their eyes remained glued to the TV screen livestreaming the landing. Then it erupted into cheers and giddy celebration when the lunar rover managed to make a soft landing on the moon.

“We won, we won!” they yelled, followed by cheers of hashtag#Bharat Mata ki Jai. People hugged each other and waved the national flag in a frenzy.
